The ProSeries filter has an inbuilt top diffuser that distributes the unfiltered water uniformly over the sand media bed in a cascading, umbrella-like pattern. This facilitates the maximum possible filtration rate from each square inch of sand. The package includes a seven position valve for simple operation.
