Refund policy
First and foremost: all products purchased through Best Buy Pool Supply are accompanied by a full manufacturer warranty, therefore all questions, issues or concerns are to be directed to the manufacturer prior to completing the request to return merchandise form. Once an item is installed then the warranty is in place and should be used accordingly.
At Best Buy Pool Supply we make every effort to keep the product warranty information up to date on our site, but manufacturers are continuously changing their warranty terms. Best Buy cannot be held liable for these warranty changes by the manufacturer. Always refer to the warranty terms within your Owners Manual in these cases as the manufacturer will honor the terms in the manual.
Per the Best Buy Pool Supply store policies, attached, the criteria for returning any merchandise is as follows:
1-Returns are permitted within the first 30 days from the date of purchase for all non-defective (*In New Condition) merchandise. Exceptions: due to the nature of the following products, all sales are final on these items: All pool chemicals (government regulations), alarms, robotic cleaners, swimming pools, saunas, and heaters.
*In New Condition is defined as: product is still in the original packaging and has not been taken out of original packaging, has not been installed or tested, has not been inserted in water, and all paperwork and parts are accounted for, including videos and rebate form, if applicable.
2-There will be up to a 20% or a $5.00 re-stocking fee applied to all merchandise returned, which ever is greater. Original shipping is not refundable and the cost to return an item is the financial responsibility of the individual returning said merchandise.
3-Returned merchandise must be in the original box and in resalable condition and include all literature, warranty cards, etc.
4-Special order products are not eligible for return. We also do not take heaters, heat pumps, liners or above ground pools back. Exception: Special order products maybe approved for replacement only if found defective, no refunds or exceptions allowed.
5-Order Refusal. Refused order will be subject to a 20% restocking fee + all shipping charges. LTL refused order will be charged freight both ways (Usually 40 to 65% of the total retail of product) + 20% restocking fee.
6-Order Cancellation. Cancelled orders will be subject to a 5% fee if we can stop the shipment of the order. If not please follow the policy on this page to start a return. Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
If you have met the above criteria please email us for an rma. Once this request to return merchandise form is received you will then receive an email with return instructions via your email within 48 hours, Monday through Friday. Please note that the RGA number (identification of return) has to be written on the address label. DO NOT WRITE ON THE MERCHANDISE BOX AND ONLY USE CLEAR TAPE.
