Installation Requirements
The F-300 horizontal model installs at the 12 o'clock position on horizontal piping.
For best accuracy:
- Install on a straight section of pipe
- Provide approximately 5 pipe diameters of straight pipe upstream
- Provide approximately 2 pipe diameters downstream
- Keep the pipe completely full of water during operation
- Install downstream of the filter when practical
- Install the meter in the correct direction of flow
- Use on the pipe size and schedule for which the meter is calibrated
Installation requires drilling a 5/8" opening in the pipe. The supplied gasket and stainless-steel clamps secure the meter to the piping.
